The Iowa Barbeque Society and the Iowa State University Meat Laboratory are co-sponsoring the Barbeque Spring Training Camp.

The camp will be held from 9am-5pm on March 31st at the ISU Meat Laboratory.  Registration is limited to the first 60 paid participants so sign up while spots are still available!

On November 12th this year the Iowa BBQ Society held its 10th annual RIBS for Kids Day at the Cookies Food Headquarters in Wall Lake, IA where 45 young people from the Des Moines area, through the help of Urban Dreams, got a chance to spend the day with Speed Herrig and others learning about BBQ and enjoying fun activities.  Check out all the action by clicking on the link below.

The Judges School will be held March 3^rd at Hockenberg’s in Des Moines.  Mike & Teresa Lake will be our instructors.  Registration forms will be sent after the 1^st of the year – if you have someone that would like to take the class, please let Anne Rehnstrom know their name and email address.  (Click here for application)
